Tam Protezlerin Güncel Üretim Teknikleri: Geleneksel Derleme

Öz

Tam protezler günümüzde hala sıklıkla kullanılan hareketli protezlerdendir. Hareketli tam protezlerin üretimi için geleneksel yaklaşımın bazı dezavantajları bulunmaktadır. Çok sayıda klinik ve laboratuvar aşamasının bulunması, zaman alıcı olması ve yoğun emek sarf edilmesinin gerekmesi bunlardan birkaçıdır. Ayrıca tüm bu klinik ve laboratuvar aşamalarının manuel olarak gerçekleştirildiği göz önüne alınırsa hazırlanan protezlerde optimal kaliteyi sağlamak oldukça zordur. Tam protezlerde kaide materyali olarak en çok tercih edilen akrilik rezin, polimetil metaakrilattır. Bu rezinin kolay onarımı ve maliyetinin düşük olması gibi avantajları olmasına rağmen polimerizasyon büzülmesine bağlı olarak ortaya çıkan boyutsal değişimi ise en büyük dezavantajıdır. Bu deformasyonlardan kaçınmak için birçok muflalama tekniği geliştirilmiş olsa da istenilen düzeyde bir başarı sağlanamamış olması araştırmacıları başka teknik arayışlarına yönlendirmiş ve bu yüzden tam protezlerin yapımında daha fazla tekniğin optimizasyonunun klinik pratiğe fayda sağlayacağı düşünülmüştür. Dijital diş hekimliğindeki güncel gelişmeler tam protez tedavi yöntemlerini ve üretimlerini etkilemeye başlamıştır. Modern teknolojinin tam protezlerin üretimine olan entegrasyonuyla fabrikasyon prosedürlerinde farklılıklar ortaya çıkmıştır. Dijital iş akışı için yayınlarda önerilen adımlar oldukça çeşitlilik göstermektedir. Yeni teknolojiler hem hekimler hem de teknisyenler için özel bilgi ve beceriler gerektirirken, vasıflı el işçiliğine olan ihtiyacı ise azaltmıştır. Bu derlemenin amacı tam protezlerin geleneksel ve dijital tekniklerle üretimi ile ilgili mevcut literatürü pekiştirmek, klinik ve laboratuvar aşamalarının mevcut dijital iş akışlarını özetlemek, dijital alternatiflerin aşamalarını açıklamak ve bunların avantajlarını ve sınırlamalarını tartışmaktır.

Current Manufacturıng Techniques Of Complete Dentures: Traditional Review

Öz

Complete dentures are still frequently used removable dentures. The traditional approach for the manufacture of removable complete dentures has some disadvantages. There are many clinical and laboratory stages, it is time consuming, and it requires intensive effort, to name a few. In addition, considering that all these clinical and laboratory stages are carried out manually, it is very difficult to ensure optimal quality in the prepared prostheses. Acrylic resin polymethyl methacrylate is the most preferred base material in complete dentures. Although this resin has advantages such as easy repair and low cost, its dimensional change due to polymerization shrinkage is its biggest disadvantage. Although many muffle techniques have been developed to avoid these deformations, the lack of success at the desired level has led the researchers to search for other techniques, and therefore, it was thought that more technical optimization in the construction of complete dentures would benefit clinical practice. Current developments in digital dentistry have begun to affect complete denture treatment methods and production. With the integration of modern technology into the production of complete dentures, differences in fabrication procedures have emerged. The steps suggested in publications for a digital workflow vary widely. While new technologies require special knowledge and skills for both physicians and technicians, they have reduced the need for skilled craftsmanship. The purpose of this review is to consolidate the existing literature on the fabrication of complete dentures with traditional and digital techniques, to summarize the current digital workflows of the clinical and laboratory stages, to explain the stages of digital alternatives, and to discuss their advantages and limitations.
