Temel Eğitim dergisinin amacı uluslararası ve disiplinlerarası özgün, bilimsel çalışmalar için mecra olmak, eğitimle ilgili nitelikli tartışmalar üretmek ve Türkiye’de eğitimle ilgili politikaların şekillenmesine katkı sağlamaktır. Bu sebeple yayımlanacak çalışmalardan teknik yetkinliğin yanı sıra, eğitim konusundaki tartışmalara yeni ve özgün katkılar sağlamaları da beklenmektedir. Böylelikle Türkiye’de eğitim alanında çalışma yapan kişilerin ve/veya kurumların yararlanacağı bir birikimin oluşmasına katkı sağlamak hedeflenmektedir.


The aim of the Journal of Primary Education is to be a medium for international and interdisciplinary original scientific studies, to produce qualified discussions about education and contribute to the shaping of policies related to education in Turkey. For this reason, the studies to be published are expected to provide new and original contributions to the discussions on education as well as technical competence. Thus, it is aimed to contribute to the formation of an accumulation of the people and/or institutions who will take advantage of working in the field of education in Turkey.

Temel Eğitim dergisi,okul öncesi ve ilkokul eğitimine yönelik yayım yapan hakemli, akademik bir dergidir. Dergi, bu kapsamda güncelliğini muhafaza eden bütün konularda, araştırma bulguları ve tasarımı ulusal ve uluslararası önem taşıyan nitelikli çalışmalar yayımlar. Dergi, kuramsal çerçevesi güçlü, ilgili alanyazını ele alınan konu ile eleştirel şekilde ilişkilendirmiş, araştırma dizaynı ve analizleri iyi yapılandırılmış, ulusal, uluslararası ileri araştırmalara ve politika uygulamalarına yönelik öneriler ve sonuçlar içeren çalışmalara öncelik tanınmaktadır. Dergide eğitim konusunu kuramsal açıdan ele alan ve konusuna pratik açılımlar sağlayan çalışmalara yer verilmektedir. Bu çerçevede farklı disiplinlerden özgün araştırmalar, deneysel ve klinik çalışmalar, politika analizleri ve vaka bildirimleri yayımlanmaktadır.


Journal of Primary Education is a peer-reviewed academic journal that publishes on preschool and primary school education. In this context, the journal publishes quality studies with research findings and design of national and international importance in all subjects that are up-to-date. Journal's priority is given to studies with strong theoretical framework, which critically associate the relevant literature with the subject, well-structured research design and analysis, and recommendations and results for national and international advanced research and policy implementations. The journal includes studies that deal with the subject of education theoretically and provide practical expansions to the subject. In this context, original research, experimental and clinical studies, policy analyzes and case reports from different disciplines are published.

Dosya Formatı: Gönderiler Microsoft Office Word (.doc, .docx) veya uyumlu bir dosya formatında hazırlanmalıdır.

Sayfa Yapısı: Tüm kenarlar için 2,5 cm kenar boşluğu bırakılmalıdır.

Yazı Tipi: Metnin tümü için 10 punto "LATO" yazı tipi kullanılmalıdır.

Paragraf Yapısı: Paragraf öncesi 6 nk ve sonrasında ise 0 nk boşluk bırakılmalıdır. Satır aralıkları TEK aralık olarak belirlenmelidir.


File Format: Submissions should be prepared in Microsoft Office Word (.doc, .docx) or a compatible file format.

Page Layout: 2.5 cm margin must be left for all sides.

Font: 10 pt "LATO" font should be used for the entire text.

Paragraph Structure: There should not be any spaces before and after the paragraph. Line spacing should be set at 1

Dergimizin intihal sınırı % 20 olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu sınırı aşan çalışmalar kesinlikle ret edilecektir. Yazarlar intihal raporu ile birlikte çalışmalarını sisteme yükleyebilir.

Lütfen ilk gönderimde makalenizi isim ve iletişim bilgilerinizi girmeden (kör) gönderiniz. Hakem sürecin tamamlanan ve yayınlanabilir kararı alan makaleleri gerekli düzenlemeleri yaparak isimli ve iletişim bilgileri ile sistemimize yükleyebilirsiniz. İlk gönderimde isim ve iletişim bilgileri olan makaleler yazarlara geri iade edilecektir.

Code of Ethics

Editorial: The editors should;

  • appoint at least two referees suitable for the subject of the candidate article,
  • ensure the communication between the reviewer and the responsible authors, taking into account the blind review process,
  • maintain their relations in a transparent and objective manner without discriminating between any authors and reviewers,
  • not use their position for their own personal and academic interests,
  • provide clear and detailed justifications for the rejected articles,
  • consider also scientific research, publication and reviewer ethics.

Reviewers: The reviewers should;

  • be experts in the fields addressed by the candidate article,
  • obliged to make their criticisms objectively and clearly,
  • not act in line with their own personal interests/opinions,
  • be considered that the texts are personal and should not be shared with third parties,
  • not transfer information from the article for their own work, and should not pursue any academic/personal interests,
  • provide clear and detailed justifications for the rejected articles,
  • consider also scientific research, publication and reviewer ethics.

Authors: The authors should;

  • not be cite as authors People who do not contribute to the study during scientific research and writing,
  • avoid situations such as irresponsible authorship, piracy, fabrication, multi-publishing, split-publishing, biased source, biased publication, violation of human-animal ethics, which are stated as unethical behaviors,
  • act in accordance with the citation system specified in the journal during the writing phase of the candidate article,
  • not be cite unpublished works,
  • not publish part of any work without permission or reference,
  • indicate the financial sources of the study, if any.

Double-Blind Peer Review Policy

This journal uses double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process.To facilitate this, authors need to ensure that their manuscripts are prepared in a way that does not give away their identity. To help with this preparation please ensure the following when submitting:

  • Submit the Title Page containing the Authors details and Blinded Manuscript with no author details as 2 separate files.

Information to help prepare the Title Page
This should include the title, authors' names and affiliations, and a complete address for the corresponding author including telephone and e-mail address.

Information to help prepare the Blinded Manuscript
Besides the obvious need to remove names and affiliations under the title within the manuscript, there are other steps that need to be taken to ensure the manuscript is correctly prepared for double-blind peer review. To assist with this process the key items that need to be observed are as follows:

  • Use the third person to refer to work the Authors have previously undertaken, e.g. replace any phrases like “as we have shown before” with “… has been shown before [Anonymous, 2007]”.
  • Make sure figures do not contain any affiliation related identifier.
  • Do not eliminate essential self-references or other references but limit self-references only to papers that are relevant for those reviewing the submitted paper.
  • Cite papers published by the Author in the text as follows: ‘[Anonymous, 2007]’.
  • For blinding in the reference list: ‘[Anonymous 2007] Details omitted for double-blind reviewing.’
  • Remove references to funding sources.
  • Do not include acknowledgments.
  • Remove any identifying information, including author names, from file names and ensure document properties are also anonymized.
