ANA FİKRİN MEKÂN TASARIMINA AKTARILMA SÜRECİNİN İRDELENMESİ

Öz

Mekân tasarımında ana fikrin konumunun ve ana fikrin gelişim sürecinin irdelendiği bu çalışmada ana fikrin öneminin mekân tasarımı özelinde vurgulanması amaçlanmıştır. Ana fikir, tasarım sürecinin her aşamasında tasarımcıya yol gösteren, tasarımın özü olarak da tanımlanabilecek önemli bir tasarım kararıdır. Tasarım sürecinin başlangıç evresinde analizi yapılması gereken bir takım veriler bulunmaktadır. Çalışma kapsamında ana fikir bileşenleri olarak adlandırılan bu verilerden hareketle çeşitli kavramlara ulaşılmaktadır. Kavramların belirlenmesiyle birlikte tasarım problemine çözüm önerisi olarak ana fikir geliştirilmektedir. Ardından farklı yönlere odaklanan tasarım yaklaşımları benimsenerek ana fikrin tasarıma aktarımı gerçekleştirilmektedir. Çalışmada ana fikir bileşenlerinin, tasarım yaklaşımlarının ve ana fikrin gelişim sürecinin irdelendiği kuramsal kısımlarda elde edilen verilerle ana fikrin tasarıma aktarılma süreç diyagramı adı verilen bir diyagram hazırlanmıştır. Bu diyagramın geçerliliği, Çukurova Üniversitesi İç Mimarlık Bölümü öğrencileri ile yürütülen bir alan çalışmasıyla sorgulanmıştır. Analizi yapılan uygulamalardaki tasarım süreçleri bu diyagram özelinde değerlendirilmiş, elde edilen bulgular ışığında konuyla ilgili yapılacak ileriki çalışmalarla ilgili önerilerle çalışma sonuçlandırılmıştır.

EXAMINATION THE TRANSFERRING PROCESS OF MAIN IDEA TO SPACE DESIGN

Öz

The study, which examines the position of the main idea in interior design and the development process of the main idea, aims to emphasize the importance of the main idea in terms of the space design. The main idea is an important design decision that can be defined as the core of the design, guides the designer at every stage of the design process. There are some data that need to be analyzed at the beginning of the design process. Various notions are reached based on these data, which are called as main idea components within the scope of the study. With the determination of the notions, the main idea is developed as a solution proposal to the design problem. Subsequently, the main idea is transferred to the design by adopting design approaches focusing on different aspects. The process diagram of transferring the main idea to the design is prepared with the data obtained in the theoretical parts of the study, which main idea components, design approaches and the development process of the main idea are examined. The validity of this diagram was questioned in a field study conducted with the students of Çukurova University, Department of Interior Architecture. The design processes in the analyzed applications were evaluated in accordance with this diagram, and in the light of the findings, the study was concluded with suggestions for future studies on the subject.
