Could Pregnancy be a Common Trigger Factor for Hypertrophic Scar And Keloid? A Case Report
Year 2016,
Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 38 - 41, 25.08.2016
Hypertrophic scar and keloid are the main pathologic results after an abnormal wound healing process. Limited treatment options and unsatisfactory outcomes make the pathologies in need of more clinical interest. For this reason etiological factors must be detailly questioned before the surgical procedures. With this case report, we aimed to highlight the role of pregnancy and the precautions for unexpected outcomes in this process.
