Critical approach to the inquiry news ofprint- based within the scope of professional ethics

Abstract

Especially after 2007 the investigations which began to come on the agenda in the press and news about people who subjected to investigation, ethical principles, human rights and press freedom issues cause controversy. In this study the compliance with ethical principles and human rights of the investigation on the texts written in the press have been aimed to investigate within the scope of the selected sample. For this purpose, within the scope of the selected sample from primarily newspapers in question, forms of expression in texts and news language features have been examined, using news analysis. However, the statements in texts have been investigated whether they are written respecting human rights issues that limit the freedom of the press or not. Furthermore, news texts, typed taking the human rights into account, have been highlighted the importance about the objectivity of the press; the results that may arise in the case of not being observed human rights in the print media have been discussed. As a result, in the study , respecting the right to freedom being had by law, the ethical principles and human rights, the universal requirement of the assessment of the press, has been emphasized
