A LANGUAGE AND WORDING ANALYSIS ON KUSEYIN ESENKOCOYEV’S STORY NAMED AS “SARDA UÇKANDA” WITHIN THE CONTEXT OF CHILDREN’S LITERATURE

Abstract

The literature considering the understanding and comprehension level of the adolescence children, and appealling to the emotion, opinion and the dream world of the children is named as childrens literature. As a concept, the childrens literature emerged in the beginning of XXth century in the West. From this date on, the fast developing childrens literature has become a sort of seperate literature. Kuseyin Esenkocoyev is a writer who put his stamp on Kırgız literature history by his stories oriented on children in 1920-1940 accepted as the beginning of the modern Kırgız literature. Esenkocoyev became precursor of especially fantastic story in Kırgız literature and he blended the children literature products of the West with Kırgız folktales. In this study, a language and wording analysis will be examined on Kuseyin Esenkocoyevs story named as Şarda Uçkanda While Flying Balloon within the context of childrens literature.

ÇOCUK EDEBİYATI BAĞLAMINDA KUSEYİN ESENKOCOYEV’İN “ŞARDA UÇKANDA” ADLI HİKÂYESİ ÜZERİNE BİR DİL VE ÜSLUP İNCELEMESİ

Abstract

Büyüme çağındaki çocuğun anlama ve kavrama seviyesini dikkate alan, çocuğun duygu, düşünce ve hayal dünyasına hitap eden edebiyata çocuk edebiyatı adı verilir. Terim olarak çocuk edebiyatı XX. yüzyılın başlarında batıda ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu tarihten itibaren hızla gelişim gösteren çocuk edebiyatı ayrı bir yazın türü haline gelmiştir. Kuseyin Esenkocoyev, modern Kırgız edebiyatının başlangıç yılları kabul edilen 1920-1940 yılları arasında çocuklara yönelik yazdığı hikâyelerle adını Kırgız edebiyat tarihine geçirmiş bir yazardır. Esenkocoyev, özellikle fantastik hikâyenin Kırgız edebiyatındaki öncüsü olmuş, Batıdaki çocuk edebiyatı ürünleriyle Kırgız halk hikâyeciliğini harmanlamıştır. Bu çalışmada çocuk edebiyatı bağlamında Kuseyin Esenkocoyevin Şarda Uçkanda Balon Uçururken adlı hikâyesi üzerine bir dil ve üslup incelemesi yapılacaktır.
