Abstract
Üretim ve istihdamın artışında önemli bir rol oynayan girişimcilik, ekonomik gelişmenin merkezinde yer alan bir kavram olmuştur. Bu yüzden Türk girişimci sınıfının izlediği yol, iktisat tarihimizde önemli bir yere sahiptir. Kapitalizmi üretememiş olan Osmanlı Devleti, Cumhuriyete de bu mirası devretmiştir. Türk girişimci sınıfının tarihi bu yapı üzerinde şekillenmeye başladığından, Osmanlı Devletinde 19.y.y.dan Cumhuriyetin kuruluşuna kadar geçen dönemin girişimcilik tarihi açısından incelenmesi önem taşımaktadır.

Abstract
The notion of entrepreneurship which has an active part of increasing production and employment is in the center of economic development. Therefore the way which Turkish entrepreneur class followed, is important for Turkish economic history. The Ottoman Empire couldnt generate the capitalist system and devolve this heritage to the Republic. The Turkish entrepreneur class began to build on this construction. Therefore it is so important that study the Entrepreneurship History in Ottoman Empire from 19.century to Republic.
