Abstract
Rüyalar, Osmanlı toplumunda her zaman önemli bir yere sahip olmuştur. Bu çalışma, 18. asrın ortalarından itibaren rüya sahipleri ile imparatorluk yönetimi arasında nasıl bir etkileşimin olduğunu arşiv kayıtları ışığında ortaya koyabilmeyi amaçlamıştır. Bu noktada şu sorulara cevaplar üretilmeye çalışılmıştır: Rüyaların içeriği nedir? Dinî temaya sahip olduğu yahut ilahî mesaj taşıdığı iddia edilen rüyalar, hangi çevrelere mensup şahıslarca görülmüştür? İşaret edilen tarzda bir rüya gördüğünü iddia edenler kendileri için imparatorluk hazinesinden bir talepte bulunmuşlar mıdır? Şayet bulunmuşlarsa talepleri karşılanmış mıdır? Bu cevap üretim işlemi esnasında, ayrıca rüyaların imparatorluk yönetimi nezdinde uyandırdıkları yahut uyandıramadıkları ilginin sultanlar veya dönemlere göre nasıl bir farklılaşma geçirdiğine de temas edilmiştir. Bu sayede bazı önemli ve ilginç bilgilere ulaşıldığı düşünülmektedir.

Abstract
Dreams have always had an important place in the Ottoman society. This study aims to be able to put forward in the light of archival records what interaction exists between the dreamers and the government of empire in the mid-18th century. At this point, answers to these questions are tried to be answered: What are the contents of dreams? What kind of environment did those belong to, whose dreams were alleged to be alleged to have a religious theme or to carry a divine message? Did the subjects, who claimed to have dreamt in the pointed way, want something for themselves from the empire treasury? If they did, were their wishes provided? During this answer production process, what kind of differentiation did the wonder, which they woke or did not in the government of empire, go through according to sultans or the periods, is mentioned. Thanks to this, some important and interesting information is thought to be achieved.
