Abstract
Türk Medeni Kanununun 11. maddesi erginliğin on sekiz yaşın doldurulması ile başladığını belirtir. On sekiz yaşın altında yapılan her evliliğe; erken evlilik, çocuk evliliği veya erken ve zorla yapılan evlilik denilmektedir. Evlenen kızlara da çocuk gelin Türk Medeni Kanununda On beş yaşını dolduran küçük, kendi isteği ve velisinin rızasıyla mahkemece ergin kılınabilir ifadesi bulunsa bile çocuk, doğası gereği yine çocuk olmaya devam eder. Bu çalışma erkek egemen söylem, dini pratikler, gelenek, görenek, namus ve töre bağlamında toplumca normalleştirilen çocuk gelin olgusunun neden ve sonuçlarına Lal Gece filmi ekseninde ayna tutmak amacıyla içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılarak hazırlanmıştır. Lal Gece filmi ülke genelinde karşılaşılan çocuk gelin olgusunu belli bir yöreye indirgemeden, gerdek gecesi sınırları içinde karakterlerin psikolojisine derinlemesine eğilmesi nedeniyle seçilmiştir. Çocuk gelin trajedisi olarak başlayan film, namus ve töre adı altında işlenen cinayetleri de filmin sonlarına doğru görünür kılarak aslında gelin kadar damadın da erkek egemen baskının kurbanı olduğu gerçeğiyle izleyiciyi yüzleştirir.
Abstract
Turkish Civil Law Act No.11 states that "maturity begins after the end of age 18". Each marriage before age 18 is called as; early marriage, child marriage or forced marriage. The girls in these marriages are called as child bride... Whether the statement of "Youngs older than age 15, can be stated as; "mature" by own request or guardian's acceptance" exist in the Turkish Civil Act, a child is still a child by its nature. Cause and effects of child bride fact, which has become regular by means of male dominant expression, religion practices, tradition, customs, honour and morals in society, is reviewed in this study according to the base of Lal Gece movie that is analysed through a qualitative content analysis. Lal Gece movie was chosen because of examining chid bride concept, which spreads country-wide without reducing to a specific region, by means of the character's psychology comprehensively in the limitation of nupital chamber. The movie which starts with child bride tragedy, demonstrates honor and custom killings through the end of the movie. By doing so audience faces with the fact that groom is the victim of male dominant pressure as well as bride.
