THE CONCEPT OF THE VALUE, SHARING AND THE LIFE IN THE AGE OF INFORMATION

Abstract

The system of capitalism bases on the accumulation of the tangible and intangible goods and services. However,
the question arises, how this goods and services can be valued and how or according which criteria they can be
shared to people. Henceforth, this article relies on vivid analysis applying perspectives of Adam Smith, Karl
Marx as well as religious point of views to illuminate this situation. There is an effort to produce an analytical
model within which political economy considerations can be linked to each other. Given this analytical
approach, the discussion on term value do mean considerably useful.
This project examines the evolution of term “value” and its role in the developments in the societies. The main
objective of the project is to reaffirm and clearly underline the message that, the term “value” shall not be
simplified and it needs more acknowledgement and social consciousness. The project examines this term from
critical scientific point of view.

DEĞER KAVRAMI, PAYLAŞMAK VE BİLGİ TEKNOLOJİSİ ÇAĞINDA YAŞAM

Abstract

Kapitalist sistem somut ve soyut mal ve hizmetlerin birikimi temeline dayanmaktadır. Ancak bu mal ve
hizmetlere hangi kriterlere göre değer biçileceği ve hangi ölçütler çerçevesinde insanlar arasında paylaştırılması
gerektiği konusunda farklı tartışmalar yaşanmaktadır. Bu makalede Adam Smith, Karl Marx ve dini bakış
açılarından yola çıkarak modern bir analiz sunmaya çalıştık. Bu bağlamda özelliklede politik ekonomiyi
ilgilendiren analitik bakış açıları birbirleri ile ilişkilendirilmiştir. Bundan yola çıkılarak “değer” kavramını
irdelemek oldukça faydalı ve gereklidir. Özetle bu makalede “değer” kavramının toplumsal yönü ve bu kavram
ışığında toplumsal bakış açılarındaki başkalaşım süreci, karşılaştırmalı analiz yöntemi ile ele alınmıştır.
Çalışmada toplumsal değerlerin teknolojik gelişmelerin etkisinden kalarak kısmen erozyona uğradığı ve bu
durumun toplumsal bilinç düzeyinin uyarılması ile engellenebileceği tezi savunulmuştur. Değer kavramı
etrafındaki tartışma ve yaklaşımlar insanları hem bireysel hem de toplumsal açıdan etkileyen olguların başından
gelmektedir. Bu bağlamda önemli bir konu olduğu vurgulaya çalıştık.
