Abstract
İnsanın yaşamının her evresinde var olan müzik insan eğitiminde de vazgeçilmez bir unsurdur. Müziğin eğitimi, müzik yoluyla eğitim olarak düşünülebilir. Müzik eğitimi ele alındığında her yaşta herkese verilebileceği söz konusu olması sebebiyle eğitimde kullanılacak öğretim yöntemi oldukça önemlidir. Müzik eğitimi ve öğretiminde beklenen davranışların gerçekleştirilmesinde ve eğitim sürecinin öncesinde belirlenen amaca ulaşmada kullanılan yol olan müzik öğretim yöntemi eğitimcilere ışık tutar. Bu bağlamda eğitimcilere ışık tutacağı düşünülen dört temel yöntemle sınırlı olan bu araştırmada, müzik eğitimi öğretim yöntemlerinin genel özelliklerinin, yapılmış araştırmalar yoluyla incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.

Abstract
Music, present in every stage of a mans life, is also an irreplaceable element in mans education. Music education may be considered as education via music. Teaching method to be used in education is fairly important when music education is in question, considering that music education can be given to anybody at each age.Music teaching method, which is the way used to meet the goals determined before the education process and in realisation of expected behaviours in music education and training, enlightens educators. In this research, which is limited to four fundamental methods which are considered to enlighten the educators in this context, the general features of music education training methods is aimed to be analysed by previously performed researches.
