Abstract
Topluma mal olmuş kişilerin yaşam bilgilerine ölüm tarihlerini esas alarak yer veren vefeyât türü, İslâm edebiyatında ortaya çıkmış; belirli bir süreden sonra Klasik Türk edebiyatında örnekler göstermeye başlamıştır. Bu örneklerden biri İsmail Belîğin kaleme aldığı Güldeste-i Riyâz-ı İrfân isimli eserdir. Bursada doğmuş ya da mezarı orada bulunan meşhur kişilerin biyografilerini ihtiva eden bu vefeyâtnâme hakkında çağdaş araştırmacılar bazı yayımlar yapmışlardır. Yazarının elinden çıkmış, şuan Mısır Milli Kütüphanesinde bulunan bir nüsha, Güldeste ile ilgili bu yayımlarda yer almayan bazı hususiyetler sunmaktadır. Söz konusu hususiyetlerden biri Güldestenin üç yazım aşaması neticesinde son şeklini almış olmasıdır. Bu çalışmada önce vefeyât türünün tanımı ile tarihi gelişimi hakkında malumat verilmiş; sonra müsvedde, 1. telif ve 2. telif aşamalarına ait nüshaların mukayese ve tetkiki sonucunda Güldeste-i Riyâz-ı İrfân ile ilgili elde edilen yeni bilgiler sıralanmıştır.
Abstract
Genre of vefeyât that addresses life information of socially prominent persons based on their dates of death appeared in Islamic literature and began to show their examples in classical turkish literature after a certain time. One of such examples is a work entitled Güldeste-i Riyâz-ı İrfân, which had been written by İsmail Belîğ. Some publications have been made by contemporary researchers about this vefeyâtnâme containing biographies of prominent people who were born in Bursa or found their grave there. A copy, which was written by the author and is currently found in the Egyptian National Library, exhibits some characteristics that are not included in these publications related to Güldeste. One of the aforementioned characteristics is that Güldeste takes its final shape as a result of the three-writing phase. In this study, information was first given about definition of genre of vefeyât and its historical development. Then, new information about Güldeste-i Riyâz-ı İrfân is listed as a result of comparison and examination of copies related to stages of draft, first writing and second writing.
