ULUSAL VE ULUSLARARASI ALANYAZINDA TURİSTLERE YÖNELİK TACİZ

Abstract




Doğası gereği en küçük olumsuzluktan etkilenebilen bir endüstri olan turizm, çoğu zaman sürdürülebilirlik adına tüm bu olumsuzluklarla mücadele etmek durumunda kalmaktadır. Son yıllarda giderek artan turistlerin yaşadığı taciz, bu olumsuzluklar arasında yer almaktadır. Cinsel taciz, satıcı tacizi ve fiziksel taciz gibi farklı şekillerde kendini gösteren turiste yönelik taciz konusunun alanyazında kendine yer bulduğu görülmektedir. Bu çalışmanın, turiste yönelik taciz konusunda yapılan çalışmaların derlenerek, turizmin sosyo-kültürel etkileri bağlamında ele alınması ve ileriki yıllarda yapılacak çalışmalara rehber niteliğinde olması amaçlanmaktadır. Ulusal ve uluslararası yazında bugüne kadar yazılmış olan makale, kitap bölümü ve tezlerin taranması ile yapılmış keşifsel bir çalışma niteliği taşımaktadır. Sonuçlar, turistlere yönelik tacizin artan ve küresel bir sorun olduğunu, gelişmekte olan ülkelerde ve üçüncü dünya ülkelerinde yoğunluğunun arttığını göstermektedir. Turistlere oranla ekonomik olarak daha düşük gelire sahip olan yerel halk ve turizm çalışanları tarafından gerçekleştirilen satıcı tacizi, yapılan çalışmalara göre pek çok ülkede en fazla görülen taciz türü olarak ortaya çıkmaktadır.
