İntrakraniyal Uzanım Gösteren Juvenil Nazofarengeal Anjiyofibroma

Year 2009, Volume: 42 Issue: 1, 37 - 40, 01.04.2009

Abstract

Juvenile nasopharyngeal angiofibroma (JNA) is a rare benign tumor that usuaily affects male adolescent. İncidence of JNA is 1/6.000-1/60.000 and it forms 0.05-0.5% of ali head and neck tumors. JNA usuaily stems from superior or posterolateral vvall of nasal cavity or nasopharynx. İts agressive local grovvth and vascularity is a cause of morbidity. İn this case report we discuss, a JNA extending intracranially vvith radiological findings.
