Is it Possible to Retreat Calcium Silicate-Based Sealers?

Kalsiyum Silikat Esaslı Kanal Patları Kök Kanallarından Uzaklaştırılabilir Mi?

Abstract

Son yıllarda geliştirilen ve popüler hale gelen kalsiyum silikat esaslı kanal patları; biyouyumlu olmaları, biyoaktif özelliklerinin olması, uygulama kolaylığı vb. özellikleri sebebi ile güta-perka ile birlikte kök kanalı dolgularında kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Primer endodontik tedavilerde bu kanal patlarının kullanımının yaygınlaşmasıyla, kök kanalı tedavisinin tekrarını gerektiren durumlarda nasıl bir yol haritası çizileceği sorusunu akla getirmektedir. Bu derlemede kalsiyum silikat esaslı kanal patlarının genel özellikleri dentinle olan bağlantıları ve güta-perka ile olan bağlantısı incelenmiştir. Ayrıca KSP’lerin kök kanallarından uzaklaştırılmaları esnasında farklı yöntemlerin kullanıldığı çalışmalar incelenerek, kök kanal tedavisi tekrarını gerektiren durumlarda bu yöntemlerin etkinliğinin karşılaştırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
