RECOVERY OF ESTHETIC AND FUNCTION BY CROWN LENGTHENING WITH BONE REDUCTION: A CASE REPORT

Abstract

Short crown lengths cause aesthetic and functional problems in dental practice. Therefore, in this patients with short crown length, crown lengthening procedures are frequently performed by using different surgical techniques. In this case report, periodontal surgical treatment and prosthetic treatment of a 62-year-old female patient with vertical size loss and short crown length are presented.

Abstract

Diş hekimliği pratiğinde kısa kron boyu estetik ve fonksiyonel problemlere yol açmaktadır. Bu nedenle kısa kron boyuna sahip vakalarda farklı cerrahi teknikler kullanılarak kron boyu uzatma işlemleri sıklıkla yapılmaktadır. Bu vaka raporunda 62 yaşında dikey boyut kaybı ve kısa kron boyuna sahip kadın hastanın, periodontal cerrahi tedavi ve protetik tedavisi tamamlanarak sunulmuştur.
