SINIF II MALOKLÜZYONLARIN TEDAVİSİNDE KULLANILAN FONKSİYONEL ORTOPEDİK APAREYLER

Year 2019, Volume: 5 Issue: 1, 51 - 56, 01.04.2019

Abstract

Fonksiyonel tedavilerde, dişlerin çeneler ile olan
ilişkisi maksilla ile mandibula arasındaki ilişki ve
çenelerin yüz iskeletindeki konumları düzeltilmeye
çalışılmaktadır. Bu ilişkileri düzeltmek ve birçok
kas gurubunun düzenini değiştirmek için her iki
çeneyi içine alan, kuvveti bazal kemik ve dişlere
ileten apareylere gereksinim duyulmaktadır.
İskeletsel Sınıf II maloklüzyona sahip bireylerde
büyüme gelişim döneminde yapılan ortodontik
tedavi hastanın İskeletsel problemini ortadan
kaldırır ayrıca stabil ve fonksiyonel oklüzyon
kazandırır ve hastaya estetik bir yüz profili
sağlamaya çalışır. Ortodontik anomalilerin 1/3’ü
Sınıf II maloklüzyonlardır. Gerek klinik görüntü
olarak gerekse de tedavi seçeneği olarak çeşitli
varyasyonları bulunmaktadır.
