Onikofaji Kaynaklı Okluzal Travmaya bağlı Akut Apikal Apse: Bir Vaka Raporu

Abstract

Bu vaka raporun amacı alt anterior bölgede onikofaji (tırnak yeme alışkanlığı) sonucu oluşan akut apikal apsenin endodontik tedavisi ve 3 yıllık takibini sunmaktır. Hastanın anamnezi alındıktan sonra, klinik ve radyografik değerlendirmeleri sonucunda 31, 41 numaralı dişlerin devital olduğu ve akut apikal apse oluşumuna sebep oldukları tespit edildi. Hastanın anamnezine göre oklüzal travmaya sebep olabilecek şiddetli kronik tırnak yeme alışkanlığı olması sebebiyle öncelikle hastanın alışkanlığını bırakması yönünde tavsiyeler verildi. Endodontik müdahele, kök kanallarına medikaman yerleştirilerek 3 seansta tamamlandı. 3 yıllık takipte klinik ve radyografik olarak herhangi bir problem görülmedi.
