SUÇLU PROFİLİ

Abstract

Suç eyleminden sorumlu bireylerin kişilik özelliklerini gösteren yöntem “suçlu profili” olarak tanımlanmaktadır. Suçlu profili ile pratikte meşgul olan profesyoneller, adli bilimciler, sosyal bilimciler ve davranış bilimcilerden oluşan geniş spektrumlu bir araştırmacı grubunu içerir. Onların ilgisi, çözümlenmemiş olgularda sıklıkla suçlu soruşturma çalışmaları ve şüphelinin tanımlanması ile ilgilidir. Suçlu profili, hukuk uygulamasının çeşitli alanlarında başarıyla kullanılmaktadır ve soruşturmanın sınırlı olduğu durumlarda değerlidir. Profillendirme suçlunun spesifik kimliğini sağlamaz. Daha çok suç işlemesi en muhtemel kişi tipini belli davranış ve kişilik özelliklerine odaklanarak gösterir. Bu makalede, Türkiye’de detaylı çalışmaların yapılmadığı “suçlu profili” konusundaki verilerin sunulması amaçlanmıştır.
