Silah Ruhsatı Almak için Başvuranlarda Bireysel Silahlanma Nedenleri ile Bağlanma Stilleri ve Bilinçli Farkındalık Arasındaki İlişki

Year 2022, Volume: 36 Issue: 3, 96 - 101, 14.12.2022

Abstract

Giriş: Bireysel silahlanmanın azaltılmasında silahlanma nedenleri ve ruhsal patolojilerin ilişkileri önemlidir. Çalışmamızda silah ruhsatı için başvuran kişilerin silah ruhsatı alma nedenleriyle bağlanma stilleri ve bilinçli farkındalıklarının ilişkisi araştırılmıştır
Yöntem: Çalışmaya silah ruhsatı başvurusunda bulunan ve silah ruhsatı almaya uygun olan 207 kişi dahil edilmiştir. Kişilere rutin klinik incelemelerin yanı sıra sosyodemografik veri formu, bilinçli farkındalık ölçeği ve yakın ilişkilerde yaşantılar envanteri II uygulanmıştır.
Bulgular: Katılımcıların 50’si (%24,2) silah ruhsatını kişisel hobi için, 55’i (%26,6) meslek gereği, 77’si (%37,2) bireysel güvenliğini sağlamak amaçlı almak istediğini belirtirken, 25’i (%12,1) silah aileden kaldığı için silah ruhsatı almak istemektedir. Bilinçli farkındalık ölçeğinde gruplar arasında orta büyüklükte (etki büyüklüğü=0,49) anlamlı farklılık saptanırken (p=0,018), yakın ilişkilerde yaşantılar envanterinin kaçıngan alt boyutu, kaygılı alt boyutu ve toplam puanında gruplar arasında anlamlı farklılık saptanmamıştır (kaçıngan p=0,348; kaygılı p=0,29; toplam p=0,788). Bireysel güvenlik amaçlı silah ruhsatı başvurusunda bulunan kişilerde bilinçli farkındalık düzeyleri anlamlı şekilde düşük bulunmuştur (p=0,011; p=0,019; p=0,029)
Sonuç: Bireysel silahlanmanın azaltılması için silahlanma nedenlerinin araştırılması önemlidir. Çalışmamızda silah ruhsatı başvurularında güvenlik amacıyla başvuran kişilerde bilinçli farkındalık daha düşük bulunmuştur. Silahlanma nedeni olabilecek ruhsal patolojilerin klinisyenler tarafından iyi bilinmesi gerekmektedir.

The Relationship Between Attachment and Conscious Awarness and the Reasons for Armanent in People Applying for Gun License

Year 2022, Volume: 36 Issue: 3, 96 - 101, 14.12.2022

Abstract

Introduction: The reasons for armament and the relations of mental pathologies are important for reducing individual armament. In our study, the relationship between attachment styles and mindfulness with gun license reasons was investigated.
Method: 207 people who applied for a gun license and were eligible for a gun license were included in the study. The mindfulness scale and the experiences in close relationships inventory II were applied to the participants.
Results: 50 (24.2%) of the participants want to get their gun license for hobby, 55 (26.6%) for professional, 77 (37.2%) for security and 25 (12%, 1) wants to get a gun license because the gun is inherited from the family. While there was a moderately large (effect size=0.49) significant difference between the groups in the mindfulness scale (p=0.018), no significant difference was found between the groups in the avoidant sub-dimension, anxious sub-dimension, and total score of the experiences in close relationships inventory (avoidant p=0.348; anxious p=0.29; total p=0.788). The level of mindfulness was found to be significantly lower in participants who applied for a gun license for security (p=0.011; p=0.019; p=0.029).
Conclusion: Investigate the reasons for armament is important in order to reduce individual armament. In our study, conscious awareness was found to be lower in the participants who applied for security purposes in gun license applications. Psychological pathologies that may be the reason for armament should be well known by clinicians.
