Yeni Tip Koronavirüs (COVID-19) Salgınının Diş Hekimlerinin Tedavi Kliniği Düzeni Üzerine Etkisi

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışma SARS CoV-2 salgınının dental kliniklerde ne gibi değişiklikler yapılması gerektiğini ve bu değişikliklerin ne derecede uygulandığını anket yoluyla bulmayı amaçlamaktadır.

Gereç ve Yöntem: Ankara Dişhekimleri Odası'na üye olan toplamda 385 diş hekimine SARS CoV-2 pandemisi sonucunda klinikte ne gibi değişiklikler yapıldığına dair sorular hazırlanıp online anket yolu ile ulaştırılmıştır.

Bulgular: Diş hekimlerinin öğrencilik döneminden itibaren almış olduğu hastalıklardan korunma tedbirlerinin SARS CoV-2 pandemisine iyi uyum sağladığını göstermiştir.

Sonuç: Anket sonuçlarına göre diş hekimleri olarak gelecekte benzeri yaşanılabilecek salgınlara karşı diş kliniklerinde salgın hastalıklara karşı etkin bir düzenleme standardı oluşturulmasının gelecekte yaşanılacak durumlara daha hızlı uyum sağlayabileceğimiz sonucu çıkarılabilir.

The Effect of the New Type of Coronavirus (COVID-19) Epidemic on the Treatment Clinic System of Dentists

Abstract

Objective: This study aims to find out what kind of changes should be made in dental clinics due to the SARS CoV-2 epidemic and to what extent these changes have been implemented through a survey.

Materials and Methods: A total of 385 dentists who are members of the Ankara Chamber of Dentists were asked questions regarding what changes were made in the clinic due to SARS CoV-2 pandemic, and they were sent via an online questionnaire.

Results: It has been shown that the precautions taken by the dentists, as they learned since their student years, were well adapted to the SARS CoV-2 pandemic.

Conclusion: According to the results of the survey, it can be concluded that, as dentists, to prepare an effective precaution standard against epidemics in dental clinics, may also enable us to adapt future epidemics faster.
