Selcen YÜKSEL PERKTAŞ was born in Malatya in 1980. She completed his primary and secondary education in Malatya, Istanbul and Ankara. She won Hacettepe University Faculty of Science Department of Mathematics in 1997 and graduated from there in January 2002. She started his master's degree in Inonu University, Institute of Science, Department of Mathematics in September 2002. She completed his master's degree in 2005 and enrolled in the doctoral program. In January 2006, she started to work as a research assistant at Niğde University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics. In May 2006, she started to work as a research assistant at İnönü University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics with the assignment to complete his graduate education. She completed his doctorate program in 2011 with her doctoral dissertation titled "Submanifolds of Lorentzian Almost Paracontact Manifolds and their Biharmonicities". In the same year, she returned to her job at the Niğde University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics. In 2012, she started to work at Adıyaman University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Mathematics, as an assistant professor. She received the title of Associate Professor in April 2015 and still continues to work in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Mathematics as a Professor.
She is married with two children.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş was born in 1984 and completed his primary and secondary education in Adana. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş graduated from Selçuk University, Meram Faculty of Education, Department of Secondary Science and Mathematics Education, department of Physics Education in 2007. He received his master's (2010) and doctorate (2014) degrees at Çukurova University Department of Physics. In 2010, He started working as a research assistant at Adıyaman University Faculty of Science and Letters Department of physics. In 2015, he continued to work as an Assistant Professor at Adıyaman University Technology Faculty Mechatronics Engineering Department. Ali Osman Ayaş, who was awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2019, continues his academic studies in Adıyaman University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Physics as of 2020. Ayaş, who is an expert on nanoparticles with magnetic properties, has 18 scientific articles published in high impact journals, including 16 Science Citation Index (SCI) and 2 Ulakbim Index. In addition to these, he has 34 oral presentations at international symposiums. There are 21 project studies in which he took part in various positions such as project coordinator, researcher, teacher. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ayaş has 3 patent applications at the application-examination stage. Also, there are more than 160 international citations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş's work. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Ayaş speaks English, is married, and father of two children.
Associate Professor Dr. Serdar Sönmez completed his undergraduate degree in the Department of Biology at Balıkesir University from 2002 to 2006. In 2006, he was admitted to the Master’s program in Biology at the Institute of Science of the same university and completed his thesis titled “Ectinosomatidae (Crustacea: Copepoda: Harpacticoida) Fauna of the Turkish Mediterranean Coast” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Serdar Sak and Prof. Dr. Süphan Karaytuğ.
In 2009, Dr. Sönmez was accepted into the Ph.D. program in Biology at the Institute of Science, Balıkesir University, and in the same year, he was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Biology at Adıyaman University. He completed his doctoral studies in 2014 with the thesis titled “Taxonomic Revision and Zoogeography of the Species of the Miraciidae (Crustacea, Copepoda, Harpacticoida) Inhabiting the Mediolittoral Zone of Turkish Coasts,” supervised by Prof. Dr. Serdar Sak and Prof. Dr. Süphan Karaytuğ.
Dr. Sönmez, who earned the title of Associate Professor in 2019, has been serving at Adıyaman University since then. His research continues in the fields of Harpacticoida Taxonomy, Molecular Phylogeny, DNA Barcoding, and Determination of Species Boundaries.
