Abstract
As in every country, there are common values that ensure the integrity of our country, our national unity and solidarity. One of the institutions that undertake the task of transferring these values
to future generations is schools.Life Science course taught in grades 1, 2 and 3 is an important lesson in which national valuesare taught in formal education. Life Science course curriculum has
been changed in 2018 and will be applied gradually in the first class, 2nd class and 3rd grade. The purpose of this research is to determine how national values are included in this new program. In this study, which was carried out by analytical research method, the gains related to national values were classified according to the categories determined by Evin and Kafadar (2004). As a result of the research, it has been determined that 15% of first class achievements, 14% of 2nd class achievements and 17% of 3rd class achievements are related to national values in 2018 Life Science Course Curriculum. It is seen that these gains were collected in two units in 1st and 3rd grades and only in one unit in 2nd grade
