Open Access Policy

The Ahi Evran Journal of Agricultural Sciences supports the Budapest Open Access Initiative, which aims to make peer-reviewed journal literature open access, and offers all its published articles free of charge in an environment where everyone can read and download them. In this statement, open access is defined as: Accessibility is defined as "the ability to access, read, save, copy, print, scan, link to full text, index, transfer as data to software, and use for any legal purpose of scientific literature via the Internet without financial, legal, and technical barriers" (https://www.budapestopenaccessinitiative.org/boai-10-translations/turkish-translation).

Articles published in the Ahi Evran Journal of Agricultural Sciences may be used without permission from the authors and publisher, as long as the author and the original source are cited.

Ethics Policy

The Ahi Evran Journal of Agricultural Sciences adopts the "International Standards of Editors and Authors" guidelines prepared by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics). Accordingly, the journal expects its authors, editors, and reviewers to adopt the following ethical responsibilities, which have been prepared using these guidelines.

Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Research must be conducted in accordance with ethical rules and legislation. Research results must not be fabricated, falsified, or misrepresented. The information must be presented accurately without inappropriate data sharing.
The research method must be clearly defined.
Authors must state that the research is original, free from plagiarism, and has not been published elsewhere.
All authors share responsibility for the submitted publication.
All authors must have contributed to the research.
The corresponding author must disclose financial support and conflicts of interest.
All clinical trials must adhere to the principles of the Helsinki Declaration.
Informed consent must be obtained from participants in the research, and this information must be provided in the methods section.
In animal studies, the principles of the Laboratory Animal Care and Use Guide must be followed.
The name of the committee and the decision number and date regarding the ethical committee approval must be provided.
Ethical Responsibilities of Editors

Editors assume responsibility for all published research.
Editors initiate and conduct an appropriate peer review process in a fair and impartial manner.
Editors maintain a completely transparent, thorough, and honest editorial policy.
Editors must record published research; they must re-submit the publication. In cases such as withdrawal, questionable publication, or allegations of plagiarism, editors must issue corrections and publish explanations. Editors must follow up on misconduct originating from reviewers or other editors. Editors must critically evaluate the ethical situation in research involving humans and animals. Editors must inform reviewers and authors of what is expected of them. Editors must have appropriate policies to handle conflicts of interest. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers, in accordance with their professional responsibilities, evaluate the submitted article in line with the journal's aims and scope. They share their personal information, contact information, and information related to their area of ​​expertise, and represent their area of ​​expertise fairly and accurately. Reviewers must respond to the editor when the time allotted for evaluating the article and reporting the result has expired, even if they are unable to complete the review. Reviewers may refuse to review if they believe they cannot evaluate the article within the time allotted for evaluation. The first thing reviewers should do is read the article and review the journal's publication policies. Reviewers may not publish content without the journal's permission. Reviewers cannot communicate directly with the authors.
Reviewers cannot receive assistance from another researcher in evaluating the article.
Double-blind peer review is adopted to prevent bias that may arise between reviewers and authors regarding race, religion, ethnicity, political views, business or gender-related issues.
Reviewers submit their article evaluation by filling out the forms suggested by the journal.
Reviewers submit their opinions, suggestions and comments to the editor for the authors to read.
If the reviewer's evaluation result is acceptance/correction/rejection, advice is requested from the reviewer.
