Psychological Pension for an Adolescent with Cancer :A clinical study of one case at the University Hospital of Tlemcen-psychology Unit-Algeria.

Abstract

The aim of the current study is to know the nature of psychological pension for adolescents suffering from cancer, we relied on the clinical approach using the case study, where one case was selected intentionally from the University Hospital of Tlemcen in the Psychology Unit, using the following clinical tools: clinical interview, observation, Beck test for depression, Taylor anxiety scale, Livin Stein scale for the apperception of psychological stress and the Rosenberg scale of self-esteem.
Finally, the results concluded that the case with cancer is characterized by a high level of anxiety and depression accompanied by high psychological pressure and a low level of self-esteem
