Aurum Journal of Health Sciences (AJHS – A. J. Health Sci.), sağlık bilimlerinde temel, uygulamalı, teorik ve klinik çalışmalar için uluslararası bir açık erişimli dergidir. AJHS, hakemli araştırma makaleleri, kısa raporlar, olgu sunumları, davetli derlemeler ve editöre mektuplar yayımlar. AJHS, hem basılı hem de elektronik olarak yılda üç kez yayımlanır

AJHS sağlık bilimleri üzerine çok disiplinli bir dergidir ve diş hekimliği, eczacılık, tıp, sağlık hizmetleri ve biyoloji alanında çalışmaları kabul eder. Dergide sağlık bilimlerinin farklı disiplinlerini birbirine bağlayan yazılara öncelik verilecektir.

Ethical Principles and Publication Policy
Aurum Journal of Health Sciences (AJHS) is published three times a year.
The responsibility for ethical violations that may arise due to the views and opinions expressed by the authors is not assumed by the publisher, editor and editorial board of the journal, and the responsibility for the articles and articles in the journal belongs to the author.
All articles submitted to the journal are evaluated by at least two expert referees by blind review (single blind method).
The editors of the journal decide to publish the articles in which the requested corrections and suggestions are made in line with the opinions of the referees. The editorial board has the right to make corrections in the submitted articles, to publish or not to publish the articles even if the referee process is positive. In case of corrections, the articles decided to be published are sent to the author(s) for final review. The responsibility for the errors in the manuscripts and compliance with the language rules belongs to the author(s).
Author(s) may withdraw their submissions during the evaluation process. However, if the article is accepted for publication and published, it cannot be withdrawn.
Articles submitted to the journal should not have been published or evaluated for publication elsewhere. They should not be submitted for publication in more than one journal at the same time.
There is no article processing fee. No fee is requested from the authors.
All application and evaluation procedures are carried out through the DergiPark system.

Articles submitted to our journal are checked for plagiarism and articles with high similarity rates are rejected.
In line with the decisions taken by ULAKBIM TR Index, Ethics Committee Permission is required for studies to be published since 2020. The studies that require these permissions are as follows:
• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group study, observation, experiment, interview techniques,
• Use of humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical trials on humans,
• Research on animals,
• Retrospective studies in accordance with the personal data protection law.
When uploading your study to our journal, please upload your Ethics Committee document together with your article file. If your study is not included in the study group that requires ethics committee approval, you must sign the declaration form stating this situation and indicate the relevant situation in your article text. Also;
• Stating that copyright regulations are complied with for the intellectual and artistic works used,
• Obtaining and indicating permission from the owners for the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others,
• In case presentations, it should be stated that the "Informed consent form" has been obtained.
Before 2020, retrospective ethics committee permission is not required for articles that used research data, produced from master's/doctoral studies (must be specified in the article), applied for publication to the journal in the previous year, accepted but not yet published. Please indicate in the declaration form that your study meets this condition.

Studies Requiring Ethics Committee Permission and Accepted for Publication

In studies requiring ethics committee authorisation, information about the authorisation (name of the committee, date and number) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article.
In case presentations, information on the signature of the informed consent/assent form should be included in the article.
