Sulama Performans Değerlendirmesinde Yeni Yaklaşımlar

Abstract

Suyun tarım ve tarım dışı kullanıcıları arasındaki rekabetin artması ile birlikte, su tasarrufu konusu gündeme gelmiştir. Tarımda su en fazla sulama amacıyla kullanılmaktadır. Bu nedenle sulama sistemlerinin planlama, projeleme ve yönetiminde, suyun etkin kullanımı çoğunlukla bitkisel üretim kadar önemlidir. Bugüne kadar sulama performans değerlendirilmesine yönelik çok sayıda gösterge geliştirilmiştir. Farklı sulama performans göstergelerini nitelendirmek için ortaya konan yaklaşım ve tanımlamaları standart hale getirmek gerekmektedir.
Bu çalışmada; çeşitli araştırmacılar ve ASCE (Amerikan İnşaat Mühendisleri Birliği) komitesi tarafından geliştirilen; sulama randımanı, sulama tüketimsel kullanım katsayısı, sulama uygunluğu, dağıtım üniformluluğu, uygulama randımanı, potansiyel uygulama randımanı ve düşük çeyrek yeterliliği gibi farklı performans göstergelerinin bir özeti verilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, yeniden tanımlanan sulama performans göstergelerini ortaya koymaktır.

New Approaches on Irrigation Performance Assessment

Abstract

With increasing competition among agricultural and nonagricultural users of water, the notion of water conservation was born. Irrigation is major water user of agriculture. For this reason, efficient use of water is now often a major goal in planning, design and management of irrigation systems as well as production of the crop. A great many measures have been developed to evaluate irrigation performance up to now. It is essential to standardize the exist approaches and definitions to quantifying various irrigation performance measures.
In this study, various performance measures such as irrigation efficiency, irrigation consumptive use coefficient, irrigation sagacity, distribution uniformity, application efficiency, potential application efficiency and low-quarter adequacy developed by different researchers and ASCE Task Committe were summarized. The aim of this study is to present redefined irrigation performance measures.
