Leucaena leucocephala L. Tohumlarında Farklı Çimlendirme Öncesi Uygulamaların Sürme Gücü Üzerine Etkileri

Abstract

Bu çalışma Leucaena leucocephala L. bitkisi tohumlarının sürme gücü oranlan üzerine çimlendirme öncesi farklı uygulamaların etkisini belirlemek amacıyla Akdeniz Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü Laboratuvarlarmda yürütülmüştür. Çalışmada tohumlar çimlendirme ortamına konulmadan önce 5 gruba aynlmıştır. Birinci grup tohum kontrol olarak ayrılarak hiçbir işleme tabi tutulmamıştır. İkinci grup normal musluk suyu; 3. grup ise belirli bir süre sıcak su içerisinde bekletilmişlerdir. 4. grupta tohum kabuklan çekiçle çatlatılmış, 5. grupta ise tohum kabukları zımpara ile aşındınlmıştır. Çalışma sonunda en yüksek sürme gücü oram 100 °C sıcak su içerisinde bekletilen gruptan; en düşük oran ise tohum kabukları çekiç ile çatlatılan gruptan elde edilmiştir.

Effects of Pre-Germination Treatments 011 Seedling Vigour of Leucaena leucocephala L. Seeds

Abstract

This study was conducted at the laboratories of Akdeniz University', Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Field Crops to determine the effects of different pre-germmation treatments on seedling vigour of Leucaena leucocephala L. In study, seeds had been separated to five groups before putting the germination media. No treatment was applied in the first group (Control). Second group was waited in tap water, third group was waited in hot water. At fourth group, seed coats were cracked with hammer. At fifth group, seed coats were scarified with sandpaper. At the end of the study, the highest seedling vigour ratio was obtained from hot water (5 s. 100 °C) treatment, the lowest ratio was obtained from group of seed coat crocked with hammer.
