Meyvelerde Solunum ve Solunuma Etki Eden Faktörler

Year 1997, Volume: 10 Issue: 1, 261 - 273, 01.12.1997

Abstract

Respiration and Factors Effecting the Respiration in Fruits

Year 1997, Volume: 10 Issue: 1, 261 - 273, 01.12.1997

Abstract

Fruits respire like other living organisms, even they are harvested. However, the respiration comes to an end in the fruits, when the carbohydrates and other stored products are used and finished during the respiration. As a consequence of this process, the fruits become mature and cannot be consumed anymore. In this paper, respiration and the factors affecting the respiration in fruits were explained.
