Türkiye’de ilk defa bulunan gal thripsi Gynaikothrips ficorum (Marchal)'un tanımı, konukçuları, zararı ve yayılışına ilişkin bilgiler verilmektedir.

A Gall Thrips Gynaikothrips Ficorum (Marchal) Found In Turkey

Abstract

The gall thrips, Gynaikothrips ficorum (Marchal) was recorded for the first time in Mediterranean coast of Turkey (Ficus sp, 9. V. 1986, 5♀, 2♂, Mersin). Its galls on a Ficus sp. leaf is shown in fig. 1, a. Measurements given in table 1 (for antennal segments in females) and in the text were taken from the specimens found during the study.
