Abstract
Bazı Thysanoptera türleri kesin olarak bilinmeyen sebeplerle insanları sokup emmeye çalışırlar. Türkiye'de mevcut türlerden Aeolothrips intermedius Bagnal ve Haplothrips bolacophilus Priesner'un bu davranışı gösterdikleri tesbit edilmiştir. Bunların beslenme özellikleri, Türkiye'deki yayılışları ve konukçularına ilişkin bilgiler verilmiştir.

Abstract
Some species of Thysanoptera are known to attack man for not exactly determined reasons. Aeolothrips intermedius Bagnal and Haplothrips bolacophilus Priesner are such species in Turkey. First is an omnivorous species distributed all over the country on various plants, the second is probably a phytophagous species with unknown hosts and limited distribution.
