Değiştirilmiş Atmosferlerin Depolamış Ürün Zararlısı Böceklere Etkisi ve Bir Mücadele Yöntemi Olarak Değerlendirilmesi

Year 1988, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 102 - 123, 01.06.1988

Abstract

The Effects of Controlled Atmospheres on Stored Product Insects and Its Evaluation as A Control Method

Year 1988, Volume: 1 Issue: 1, 102 - 123, 01.06.1988

Abstract

The various efects of inert atmospheric gaz mixtures (various combinations of nitrogen, oxygen and carbon dioxide) on the stored product insects have been reviewed. The role of various physical and biological factors on the effectiveness of such gas mixtures or so called "controlled antospheres" has also been pointed out. The potential of controlled atmospheres as a control method has been evaluated and its feasibility in Turkey has been discussed.
