Abstract

Sağlık kuruluşları COVID-19 kesin ve olası vakalarının en yüksek olduğu yerlerdir. Hastane içerisinde triyajın hızlı ve doğru uygulanması, hastaların uygun ortamlarda izolasyonunun sağlanması ve kişisel koruyucu ekipmanın doğru kullanılması sağlık çalışanı ve COVID-19 olmayan hastaların korunması açısından önemli olacaktır. Refakatçilerin mümkün olduğunca kabul edilmemesi ve hastane içerisindeki herkesin maske kullanımının sağlanması gerekmektedir. COVID-19 bulaşının önlenmesi için temel önlemler maske, fiziksel mesafe ve el hijyendir. Bu rutin enfeksiyon kontrol önlemlerinin yanında hastaya yapılan işleme ve bulaş yoluna yönelik alınacak önlemler de COVID-19 bulaş riskini azaltacaktır.

COVID 19: Infection Control Measures at the Hospital

Abstract

Healthcare institutions are places with the highest rate of confirmed and suspicious cases of COVID-19. Fast and accurate triage in the hospital, ensuring the isolation of patients in appropriate environments and the correct use of personal protective equipment will be important for the protection of healthcare workers and patients without COVID-19. Attendants should not be accepted as much as possible and it should be ensured that, everyone in the hospital wears a mask in healthcare institutions. The main routine infection control measures to prevent COVID-19 transmission are wearing a mask, social distance and hand hygiene. In addition to these routine infection control measures, the procedure specific measures taken according to the route of transmission will also reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission.
