Acil Servise Zehirlenme İle Gelen Hastalarda Hava Yolu Yönetiminin Değerlendirilmesi

Year 2020, Volume: 29 Issue: 4, 258 - 266, 31.12.2020

Abstract

Yüksek doz ilaç almış kritik hastalarda hava yolu yönetimi destekleyici bakımın önemli bir bileşenidir. Tüm yetişkin intihar amaçlı ilaç zehirlenmesi vakalarının yaklaşık % 16’sı entübe edilmektedir ve sıklıkla solunumu deprese edici (benzodiazepin, barbiturat gibi) ilaçların akut alımı sonrası olmaktadır. Bu derlemede güncel literatür eşliğinde akut yüksek doz ile ilaç zehirlenmelerinde hava yolu yönetiminin nasıl olması gerektiğini vurgulamak amaçlanmıştır.

Evaluation of Airway Management in Patients Admitted to the Emergency Department with Poisoning

Year 2020, Volume: 29 Issue: 4, 258 - 266, 31.12.2020

Abstract

Airway management is an important component of supportive care in critically ill patients who have received high doses of medication. Approximately 16% of all adult suicidal drug poisoning cases are intubated and often occur after acute intake of drugs that depress respiration (such as benzodiazepine, barbiturate). In this review, it is aimed to emphasize how airway management should be in acute overdose drug poisoning in the light of current literature.
