Abstract

Hepatitis C virüs (HCV) is the major causative agent of non-A non-B hepatitis worldwide. Six genotypes of HCV have alrdeady been reported. Genotype 1b-which is the most widespread worldwide- are correlated with more severe clinical manifestations, greater viral loads and lower response to interferon treatment.

Hepatit C Virüs Genotiplerinin Klinik Önemi.

Abstract

Hepatit C virüsü (HCV), tüm dünyada non-A non-B hepatitinden sorumlu majör ajandır. HCV'nin altı genotipi tanımlanmıştır. Tüm dünyada en yaygın olan genotip 1b daha ağır klinik belirtiler, daha yüksek viral yük ve interferon tedavisine daha düşük cevap ile ilişkilidir.
