Abstract
Bu çalışmada oyverrne tavrıyla ilgili olan ve ara seçim sonuçlarının çözümlenmesinde kullanılan yeni bir ölçü ele alınmış, bu ölçüyü kullanmak suretiyle 1973-1987 döneminde Türkiye'de yapılan ara seçim sonuçlarının çözümlenmesine çalışılmıştır. Bazı ara seçim çevreleri hariç genelde, hükümette olmanın ara seçimlerde oy kaybına neden olduğu ve sol eğilimli seçmende oy kaymasının sağ eğilimli seçmene kıyasla daha fazla olduğu sonuçları elde edilmiştir.
