ÖRGÜTSEL SESSİZLİK VE İŞKOLİKLİK İLİŞKİSİ: BİR LOJİSTİK FİRMA ARAŞTIRMASI

Abstract

Çalışmada, örgütsel sessizlik ve işkoliklik ilişkisi İzmir’de faaliyet gösteren bir lojistik firmasının beyaz yakalı çalışanları örnekleminde ele alınmıştır. Tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle dağıtılan anketlerin 92’si (%67,64) analiz edilmiştir. Örgütsel Sessizlik için 28 soruluk Çakıcı (2007) tarafından geliştirilen ve Soycan (2010) tarafından uyarlanan ölçek kullanılmıştır. İşkoliklik için 17 soruluk Schaufeli, Taris ve Bakker (2006) tarafından geliştirilen Doğan ve Tel (2011) tarafından uyarlanan DUWAS ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ana hipotez, “Örgütsel sessizlik ile işkoliklik arasında pozitif yönlü bir ilişki bulunmaktadır” olarak tanımlanmıştır ve analiz sonucunda hipotez red edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde demografik değişkenlerin frekansları, güvenilirlik testleri, T-testi, Anova testi ile korelasyon analizi gerçekleştirilmiştir. Cinsiyet, eğitim ve örgütte çalışma süresi ile ilgili ilişki bulunamamıştır. Yaş ile örgütsel sessizlik ve işkoliklik arasında anlamlı farklılık bulunurken, benzer bir sonuç medeni durum ile işkoliklik arasında da elde edilmiştir. Örgütsel sessizlik ve işkoliklik ile yaş arasındaki ilişki 40-43 yaş aralığında yüksektir. Evlilerin işkoliklik düzeyleri bekarlardan yüksek bulunmuştur.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL SILENCE AND WORKAHOLISM

Abstract

In this study; the relationship between organizational silence and workaholism is handled at the logistics company white collar workers that take place in İzmir. This 92 survey is analized of random sampling (%67,64). The main hypothesis is the positive directional between the organizational silence and workaholism. For organizational silence, the scale which consisting of 28 question, was developed by Çakıcı (2007) and adapted by Soycan (2010) was used. The DUWAS scale, which consisting of 17 question was developed by Schaufeli, Taris and Bakker (2006), was used for the workaholism. The main hypothesis of the study was defined as a significant relationship between organizational silence and workaholism and at the end this hypothesis is refused. In the evaluation of the data, frequencies of demographic variables, reliability tests, T-test, Anova test and correlation analysis were performed. No relationship was found regarding gender, education and working time in the organization. There is a meaningfull difference between the age and organizational silence and workaholism. By the way, the same result is also revealed between the marital status and workaholism. The relationship between organizational silence and workaholism and age is high in the 40-43 age range. The workaholism levels of the married were higher than those of the singles.
