UPREGULATION IN ANATOMY

Abstract

Ten years ago, our journal Anatomy started out as a new international journal sponsored by Turkish Society of Anatomy and Clinical Anatomy (TSACA) to convey high-level papers on all aspects of anatomy to international biomedical platform.[1] It was actually very difficult to launch a new journal at that time because the global economy took a downturn and therefore the future of journal publications was unclear.[2] TSACA nevertheless decided to publish the journal Anatomy both in print and electronic versions. This laudable decision came to fruition today. Anatomy has been started to be published triannually with new Editorial Board and Scientific Advisory Board members since the last volume.[3,4] A remarkable increase of manuscripts sent from various aspects of anatomy and related disciplines with international diversity shows the improvement of our journal.
