Tabiat Tarihi içinde, Holosen’e ön gelen Senozoik Çağları Türki ye’sinin cansız ve canlı oluşumları çok büyük bir önem taşımaktadır.
Bu oluşumlar jeolojik, biolojik ve prehistorik arkeolojik açılar dan birinci plânda yer alacak niteliktedirler.
