The comparative evaluation of results of arthrotomies and high resolution computerized tomographic findings in meniscal lesions

Abstract

In this study, the role of high resolution computerized tomography has been insevigatd in 48 patients who were thought to have meniscal lesions cilinically. Computerized tomographic findings have been compared with clinical findings and there results of operations of 17 patients. As a result, the accuracy of direct high resolution computerized tomography appeared to be 94.1% for medial meniscus lesions and 100% for lateral meniscus lesions.
