Abstract

In this study attempts have been made to investigate late results of 87 cases on whom synovectomy was performed due to tuberculosis between l975 and l985 in the Department of Orthropaedics and Travmatology at the Istanbul Medical Faculty of the Istanbul University. The relalitonships of the patients, the time of onset of the disease, the severity of pathology present in the jonints during operation and postoperative treatment are compared and evaluated under the light of literature.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada İstanbul Üniversitesi İstanbul Tıp Fakültesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniğinde 1975-1985 yılları arasında tüberküloz artrit nedeni ile sinevektomi uygulanmış 87 dizde geç sonuçlar araştırılmıştır. Sonuçların hastaların yaş, hastalığın başlangıç zamanı, ameliyat sırasında eklemde mevcut patolojinin derecesi ve ameliyat zamanı tedavi ile ilişkileri literatür bilgileri ile karşılaştırılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
