Abstract

A case of open traumatic posterior dislocation of the hip is presented. The femoral head and neck was completely out of the skin and there were accompanying fractures of the acetabular floor, the ischial ramus and of the greater trochanter. To our knowledge, such a case has not been reported previously and this, together with its interesting mechanism has led us report the case. lt was followed for 18 months and roentgenographic and technetium 99m-sulphur colloid scanning studies showed avascular necrosis and osteoartritis.

Abstract

Femur baş ve boynunun cilt dışında olduğu, asetabulum tavan kırığı, trokanter major kırığı ve ischion kolu kırığı ile birlikte olan açık posterior travmatik kalça çıkığı olgusu, oluş mekanizmasının özelliği ve yayınlarda açık posterior kalça çıkığı olgusuna rastlamamamız nedeniyle ilgi çekici bulundu. 18 ay süre ile takip edilen olguda, radyografik ve technetium 99m-sulfur colloid ile yapılan sintigrafik tetkiklerde avasküler nekroz ve osteoartrit tespit edildi.
