Surqical treatment of the clavicular fractures

Abstract

In this study, we report the results of 11 fractures of the clavicle trated surgically between 1979 and 1986 at The Department of Orthop, and Traumatology, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. The surgical methods and the limited indications for surgery are discussed. Stable osteosynthesis was achieved with several different techniques in all cases and no non-unions were seen.
