Abstract

Twenty-three patients with both medial collateral ligament (mcl) and anterior cruciate ligament (acl) rupture underwent diagnostic and surgical arthroscopy. Trans-arthroscopic partial menisectomy was performed in 16 of these patients, while acl reconstruction (modified Zarins procedure) was performed on seven patients.The objetcive of this study was to determine the effectiveness of diagnostic and arthroscopic surgely in acl and mcl reconstruction.

Abstract

İç yan ve önçapraz bağ tamiri yapılan 23 hastadan 16 sına trans-artroskopik cerrahi iIe parsiyel menisektomi, diğer yedi vakada diagnostik artroskopiyi takiben ön çapraz bağ, modifiye ''Zarins'. tekniği ile tamir edilmiştir. Aktif spor yapanlarda; boşalma ve pozitif "Jerk test'' fonksiyonel instabilite bulgularında mutlak surette önçapraz bağ tamiri yapılmalıdır. RotasyoneI instabilitenin varlığı halinde ise ekstra-artiküler tamir unutulmamalıdır. Artroskopi ile her iki menisküs arka boynuzları en iyi şekilde bimauel muayene edi1ir ve gereğinde artroskopik cerrahi i1e çıkartılır. Bu suretle, bağ tamirleri esnasında eklem zedelenmesi en aza indirilir. İç yan bağ tamirlerinde ise lüzumsuz yere eklem açılmamış olur. Her türlü rekonstrüksiyon öncesi anroskopinin çok yararlı olacağı görüşündeyiz.
