Arthroscopic partial menisectomy

Abstract

Arthroscopy have become important subspecialties of orthopaedic surgery. Arthroscopy provides reliable information on the type and extent of meniscal lesion and therefore allows a rational therapy of the spesific lesions. The paper is based upon more than 400 operations and the patient have had a follow up examination, the results of which are analysed. Only two of our cases we used open menisectomy for the additional lesions.
