Talar osteoid osteoma

Abstract

A young female patient who, for two yars, has been Complaing about a pain which was localised to the anterior ankle. Because no diagnose was able to been performed and an increased activity in the talus was noticed. CT area localised to the neck of talus. lt was clinically diagnosed as an osteoid osteoma and pathologically confirmed after the lesion was resected. During the postop, recovery period, the patient had no complaints at all. Going through the literature, it is found out that diagnosing osteoid osteoma lesions in bones with irregular surjaces such as the femoral neck, vertebras and talus was quite difficult and bone scintigraphy was really efficient.

Talus'ta osteoid osteoma (Bir olgu nedeniyle literatürün gözden geçirilmesi)

Öz

İki yıldır ayak bileği anterior'unda lokalize ağrısı olan genç bayan hastada rutin muayenelerle herhangi bir tanı konulmaması üzerine kemik sintigrafisi yapılmış ve talusta aktivite artışı tespit edilmiştir . Bu bölgenin bilgisayarlı tomografisinde talus boynunda subperiostal yerleşimli sklerotik bir odak saptanarak klinik olarak osteoid osteoma tanısı konmuş ve lezyon çıkarıldıktan sonra patoloji sonucu ile tanı doğrulanmıştır. Ameliyat sonrası dönemde hastanın yakınmaları tamamen ortadan kalkmıştır. Yapılan literatür taramasında femur boynu, vertebra ve talus gibi düzensiz yüzeyli kemiklerde lokalize olan osteoid osteoma lezyonlarında tanı güçlükleri bulunduğu ve bu gibi şüpheli durumlarda kemik sintigrafisinin tanıda etkili olduğu saptanmıştır.
