Soft tissue operations in the treatment of hallux valgus are considered in this report

Abstract

Given the indications, different surgical procedures and their technics are descnibed. Various procedures like Silver's Bunionectomy, McBride's Bunionectomy. Du Vries Mann modification and modified McBride Bunionectomy are shorty summarized and with the main points importance of post-operative care is emphasized. As a result, sott tissue operations alone are not performed anymore Combined with procedures of bony structure they give better results.
