Synovial hemangioma of the knee foint (a case report)

Abstract

Synovial hemangioma is a rare lesion of the knee joint and can be confused with the other knee joint disorders. Arthoscopy has an important role in the differantial diagnosis and treatment. Diagnostic arthroscopy was performed to a twenty five year old a fermale patient who has pain at antero-medial side of the right knee joint and hemangioma and pedinculated synovial mass was seen in suprapatellar region of the knee joint and was excised by arthrotomy.
