Using Mennen plates in forearm fractures

Abstract

In this paper, 24 forearm fractures of 14 patients, who were treated by Mennen plate (clamp-on plate) in Ministery of Health-Ankara Hospital, Orthopaedic and Traumatology Clinic between 1991 and 1992 are reviewed. Complications were present in 4 of the patients treated. These were delayed union in two cases, plate slipping in one and skin impression (cosmetic) in another.
