Abstract

In this paper, 24 forearm fractures of 14 patients, who were treated by Mennen plate (clamp-on plate) in Ministery of Health-Ankara Hospital, Orthopaedic and Traumatology Clinic between 1991 and 1992 are reviewed. Complications were present in 4 of the patients treated. These were delayed union in two cases, plate slipping in one and skin impression (cosmetic) in another.

Abstract

Bu makalede 1991-1992 yılları arasında Sağlık Bakanlığı Ankara Hastanesi Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Kliniği'nde Mennen plak (Clamp-on plate) ile tedavi edilen 14 hastanın 24 radius ulna cisim kırığı gözden geçirildi. 4 vakada komplikasyon görüldü. Komplikasyon olarak 2 vakada delayed union, 1 vakada plak kayması, 1 vakada da cilde bası görüldü.
