Abstract

The incidence ofsecondary sarcomatous formation in the field of radiotherapy in patients, who survived more than 10 years, is reported as med. %0.03.ln this article, we discuss two patients ,who have been treated with mastectomy and radiotherapy due to carcinoma of the breast These patients were referred to our clinic with secondary sarcomatous formation 7 and 12 years after radiot herapy,respectively.

Abstract

Radyoterapi yapılmış bir alan içerisinde sarkom gelişme ensidansı radyoterapiyi takiben 10 yıl ve üzerinde yaşayan hastalar için ortalama %0.03 olarak bildirilmiştir. Bu yazımızda meme sarkomu nedeni ile operasyon sonrası radyoterapi uygulandıktan sırasıyla 7 ve 12 yıl sonra ışınlama alanında sekonder sarkom gelişen iki olguyu Iiteratür bilgileri ışığında inceledik.
